I may not be selling Hapari anymore...but they still managed to get me in one on TV again... (because I don't have enough suits yet....I wonder how long the 15 I have will last...hmmmm) :)

Big Old Machines...

So Jim knows this guy....he owns lots of big old machines....from WWII to be precise. A Father/Son outing found them in Western Utah for the day to check them out. (Kendrie and I aren't sure why the girls weren't invited...I would have loved to have been there with my camera....) Anyway, check out these fun pics the boys came home with....

And so it begins.....

One of the many reasons why I love my kids! They LOVE yard work! A beautiful Saturday morning spent outside tackling one of the most tedious, never ending responsibilities of being a homeowner....weeding. They love it...so more power to 'em :)

I see green! Jim dusted off the mower and gave the "just starting to turn green" lawn a nice trim. There wasn't that much to cut, but it sure made the yard look great!

Kendrie's 11!

I can't believe she is already 11! Where has the time gone? Happy Birthday to my baby girl  =]

My new toy :0)

Once upon a time, as in 2 years ago, I received a new phone. It was red and a touch screen (insert oooos and ahhhhhs) However, this new gadget came with a 2 year commitment to a different service provider than I was currently on. One that I hadn't heard good things about. One that made mobile to mobile calls to most of the people I talked to, not free anymore (sad, isn't it?) Well, a new day has dawned on my communication world! I am now back on Verizon and I have a new toy to play with :0) The Droid Eris! (more ooooos and ahhhhhs) My kids also seem to think that it is pretty cool, too. We spent almost an hour last night going through all the game "apps" and downloading and playing.... I have to remind them that this is MY "DSi" and they have their own ;0) I will learn to share some day, but for now, it's all mine!

Did I mention I have unlimited text and free mobile to mobile to other Verizon users?? Call or text me sometime, so I can hear the cool ring tones, I mean talk to you ;0)

A warning...

I came into the office and noticed a piece of paper laying on the desk. Kendrie had been on the computer doing her homework so I thought it might have been one something that needed to be in her backpack. I was wrong. This is what was written on it (in 10 year old girl cursive):

Warning to parents: If you throw this paper away I will never be able to get through to my writing accent and my grade will go down. Just a review don't throw away. I get good grades. get it? got it? good.

Frosty Art

Waiting for Spring is painful these days.... going on 5 weeks of 15+ degrees, no precipitation, fog, inversions, etc. All of that said, I did find an ounce of get up and go and went outside to find something to take a picture of. Not able to find much color, but I think they turned out pretty cool  : )
