After turning a 3 hour drive into a 5 1/2 hour drive with 6 wrongly taken roads and a 3 foot deep mud hole that the poor minivan got stuck in.....we finally arrived at Lake Lyman on the northern side of the
Uinta Mountain range. Rain fell everyday and it got down to the mid 40's at night. Couldn't have asked for a pretty place to camp.

Braiding hair is about all I did up there...I lost count of how many heads I braided after 16....

It started raining again Thursday morning around 11....it didn't stop....our bishopric members decided to put up the stakes and go home that night after evaluating the 3 inches of standing water around our tents and the interiors of the tents that became mud puddles. The tents were leaking...not able to keep out the amount of rain that was landing on them. Everyone was cold and trying so hard to stay dry....and positive. We stayed for the Stake program and then headed out around 11pm.
2:30am found me crawling into my bed...muddy and gross, exhausted, but grateful to be home and warm and dry.

Still the "Queen" of girls camp! You either like it or you don't. Danielle misses not going to girls camp with you. Glad you are home safe and dry...until next year.
